After almost 2 years at the machine shop (I told them No Rush since my back was messed up for a year) then a week in my Yukon & we finally put it on the stand today. This being my last build I am adding all the name brand goodies that I have stashed away over the last 2 years. Only choice I need to make is which roller lifters I use. I have Comp now & they are amazingly quiet compared to some I've heard in friends cars. Probably stay around the 210-215 area for the cam again.
This will be a long term project but I'll take some pics now & then to post up after I actually start into it. Feels good to have another project in the shop again. That's the longest my shop has had no engine to play with in my spare time. Now that my back is ok I'm planning to enjoy this once I finally get going on it. Thanks to all the Buick sites & Tech guys over the years, who have helped me to better understand this part of the hobby!
