I ended up with a spare MAF sensor for my 96 chevy truck and was wondering if it will work with the translator gizmo's in my GN.
I am currently still tuning a stock unit without issue, but was thinking about upgrading if this MAF would work.
It looks to be 3" and the plug is a three prong type .

Thanks

It should be 3.5 and will work great with a Translator.

You'll need an adapter to neck down to a 3" MAF pipe if that's what you're running. and either a 3.5" filter or neck back down to whatever CAI or filter you have.

When you do that mod, you'll be mad at yourself for not doing it sooner. There's plenty of stories over the years of people replacing 'perfectly fine' stock MAFs and being happy about having a different car.

Indeed, I did that mod myself...made my own intake with 3.5" MAF and 3.5" right up to the turbo inlet, where it has to reduce to 3". (I'd love to find myself a 3.5" turbo inlet, but that's another story.) On the filter side of the MAF, it opens up to a 4" K & N filter. What a difference, the responsiveness when you jab the pedal is greatly improved!
