MacAir/Ipad2-Is there really a difference?

This may have been posted on the old forum...but does anyone own either of the two? Considering buying a Mac computer and wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the two.

I have the 13" Mac Air and I love it. The biggest difference between the Air and an iPad would be that you can run multiple applications on the Air while the iPad is a single application at a time tablet. If you'd ever need to use two programs at the same time (say a browser and a text editor, or graphics program) go with the Air. Also, bigger screen, USB ports and I can run Photoshop on the Air.

That's bizarre!! The Ipad, the one that started it all, can only run one program at a time!

Apple better get their heads out of their butts, there are plenty of competative pads out there that can multi task!!

But they're not cool, like owning a Prius or Leaf.
