I am wondering what the difference is between these? I understand the LS1 is bigger and newer technology. I am wondering more if the LS1 MAF can be used on a stock engine or if it requires more mods? I am looking to buy a translator and want to know which one I should be looking to get. Thanks.

The only difference is the LS1 is a little bigger than the LT1. Technology is not different. You can use the LS1 on a stock engine as long as you have the right hose adaptors to make it fit. Make sure you get a real GM/Delphi MAF.

Thank you Eric. I am planning to buy soon,. I will probably be in touch with you. I think I am going to have to send my chips back to you this spring. I am planning to change quite a bit about my car including turbo, MAF, intercooler, and adding alky. Thanks again for your help.

If you're starting from scratch, go with the LS1. The only reason to consider the smaller LT1 is to save money if you already have a 3" filter and don't want to buy a new one.
