I'm asking if anyone is using these shocks with your lowered GN

I'm deciding between Hotchkis and bilsteins.

According to summit racing.

Hotchkis is used for lowered cars and bilsteins fit stock height.

Looking for a real world answer, or if you have a suggestion of what shocks to use.

Running a 2" drop in the front(Detroit speed coil springs)
And 1" drop in the rear ( eibach pro kit springs)

I ran Bilsteins on the front of my car for 15 years with absolutely no issues. Lowered with 1.5" drop springs.

That being said, are you running stock A-arms and spindles with a stock frame? If so, the front suspension travel is limited by the bump stops hitting the frame. The factory shocks (and Bilsteins) travel completely through that range of motion. Installing lowering springs only moves the suspension closer to the point of hitting the bump stops. The limit of the travel is still the same. (If the suspension traveled much lower, you'd be scraping the oil pan/cross member on the ground a lot more often). I don't think you would see any difference at all between those two shocks. I think "special " shocks for lowered cars is just advertising.
