There's a small vacuum port which connects to the waste gate vacuum routing that's mounted on top of the passenger side valve cover one of the two hose connections (I believe the one towards the front) on the left side should always be left open. If it's got a vacuum cap on it, your boost will be limited as such.
i ran the car with factory solenoid unplugged, still no change in boost pressure, it may have been a little lower with the hose, maybe a pound or two, still only getting 9 to 10 pounds
