Hello fellow GN enthusists!
I am the original and once proud owner of an 87 GN with about 100k miles of adult driven - mostly highway miles.
This car has been essentially my daily driver since I bought it brand new in '87.
It is now "tired" and I am considering either:
Keeping it and having it restored back to either stock or mild performance...
Or selling it to someone that will continue to love it as I do.
Right now I am leaning towards researching what it would take to restore it back to a reliable and fun car.
The car essentially runs OK; I had some trouble with some mechanical and electrical systems (to be expected from a car that is now 16 years old) and is no longer a car that I can rely upon for every day commuting...<sigh>.
Does anyone know of and can recommend a GN restoration specialist in the NYC vicinity or reasonably close that I might contract to do the restoration for me...(as I have no time to do it myself and would like to complete it in my lifetime!).
I will also invite and entertain reasonable offers to purchase my baby.
(The car has never been in an accident and the engine has never been modified.)
Thanks for your help.
Ken
