Grand National Hood

Howdy all does anyone make the hood new ? Mine has a bunch of cracks around where the latch area is

if not I can get a used one and make it work easily

Gbody parts was working on ttop pieces and doors. I thought I read about a hood. You might give em a call to see.

Very common problem
U can have any body shop weld it

Yes that's common on these cars. Don't trash it over that. While you have welder out check another common crack on hoods, not quite halfway on driver and passenger sides there's a triangle punched for a crumple point. Crack going up and out onto the hood panel itself. I've seen quite a few times these last few years

I went to two body shops the back yard body shop said yea I can weld it no problem. The professional body shop said dont weld it (I stopped listening then) I think he said it might weaken the metal

He may not have wanted to do it. It's not weakening it. I've seen a bunch done.
