Front clip or not

Back in the day pulling the clip was the preferred way to repair collisions ( parts from salvage yard) and is a great way to access all areas! I suggest you find an older bodyman who has done a few they will look at it as a good mechanic looks at pulling a motor. Always easy once you've done a few!
Always mark the bolt hole locations and outline the positions of fender brackets & hood hinge locations. Pull hood from hinges leaving hinges on fenders, place rags and / or heavy tape on door edges to prevent chipping, cover w/shield well, if you need fillers you can leave bumper on and put new fillers on when putting back together, measure, take pics and make notes as you go! This is a 2 person job!! Have a floor jack and stands ready, once off store clip with rad support raised as it would sit on the car to prevent any buckling of fenders, put pads on hood corners to store upright, if replacing rad pull from clip first, if done carefully it should be an R & R project.
