Cal is definitely the way to go....great tech help and nice fair people...

No more Chips!! No more MAF restriction,gain Data logging,traction control if add it,an best of all,it allows a custom tune for 'your' application an later upgrades...8^) They pay them self's off in time
IMHO you need to look at where you are (hardware) and your HP or ET goals..... and your level of comfort when going in to tweak the system yourself. Anybody that thinks they buy a BS3, XFI, etc. and all their tuning problems go away is dreaming. You need to be able to tweak certain things yourself (example; cold start, hot start, etc). If you can't or don't have someone locally at your disposal to help, it could be frustrating.
IMHO, there are chips out there now perfectly capable of controlling the EFI on 9 sec turbo Buicks..... with and without a MAF.......with wideband WOT tuning capabilities....... etc...... COP.......2-steps.....etc. so if you are 10's, 11's or 12's....... you really need to consider all the options before choosing.
With all that said.... if you go aftermarket ECU, the XFI is far and beyond the most popular system on Turbo Buicks and has the most support around here from individuals and also businesses such as Cal's..... you won't find any system on a TB with any easier support at your fingertips than the XFI.

Also you can, send me logs of your cold start and hot start issues, if you can;t get Cal to solve them in time for you........Ive experimented with the stock stuff and its great for the street but at wot I ran into trouble as some settings you just can;t tweak enough on a radical combination.

Im ready for an XFI Fast system! I take it buying from Cal Hartline is the way to go..
You won't be disappointed, Bonus, it's Updatable over the Internet,i don't think BS3 is,So don't have to change it out when next version comes out,There pricey to start but after you got one you'll see why...They Work!!! Solves many issues!!!

The man himself, Cal Heartline..I'm use him again in month or less i hope when new motors fired too...8^)..I'm just waiting for car to be completed,then i'm set an appointment
