Fake GN?

So just a quick question.. I'm pretty sure but not really haha, if a "GN" has a red T on the horn button does that mean it's a t type GN clone?

You'd have to look at the RPO code sticker on the trunk lid to know one way or another.

I see gn's with T's on the Horn all the time, we2 code in the trunk and all, mind has the black buick symbol though.

Most logical explanation for the red T is that when the horn pads were still available from GM thats the way they all came even when you told the parts guy you had a GN. Here is a pic of a NOS horn pad and GM box.
