Direct Scan on Windows 7?

I just loaded Direct Scan onto my new computer and it won't run - says Software is not compatible with the version of Windows I'm running. Do I have to download a newer version to get it to run on Windows 7?

There is no newer version. Direct Scan compatibility stopped at ME I think. I dont believe it even runs under XP.

If you have a computer with a parallel port, you may be able to build a MS DOS boot CD with DirectScan on it that would work. I havent messed with DirectScan in years so Im not sure that will work but its probably your best bet.
