Best shocks for GN on the street?

I have a set of Edelbrock Performer IAS to put on in the next week or so. I'm also doing new Moog coil springs and air bags. I talked to the owner of the speed shop ( been there 15+ years ) and he swears by the Edelbrock Performer IAS for everyday driving, street, and strip. I like the look of them so we shall soon see how they are. Seem like the best bang for the buck!
