I had a 14" but was disapointed with the Venturi shape at the filter's mouth. I replaced this filter with a 6.5" filter with a better venturi with zero performance loss (deep into the 11's)

That little sensor can just lay there on the inner fender (or use the sensors harness for boost sensing for turbolink) If the Temp Sensor did anything other that tell you if you CAI is working or not, I'd say mount it in the tube. But it doesn't.
