87 GN tranny advise

My bros 87 GN stock tranny is finally on its way out, it had been slipping from the 1-2 and 2-3 shift but would not slip if he floored it from third to fourth, well after a hard couple of highway runs it will not shift out of 2nd gear. He rebuilt the engine last year which includes 30 over stock 109, forged pistons, port matched intake with mildly air dremeled stock heads, GT6131,pte FM, 70mm tb/plenum, 60lb mototrons, and 3"TH/dump pipe, ls1 maf translator, extender extreme chip, and we have access to race gas and he has been running VP 110 at around 20-21 lbs of boost.

So he has his eye on the ck master rebuild kit and upgrading to either the GN servo or the billet servo. Which should he go with for his application? He also wants to know if he should upgrade any 4th gear parts since he does like to have fun on the highway? He will not be doing any hard launching just hard driving LOL. Anything elso he might need? Opinions welcome
