85 T stopped running!!!

At a light car running fine. went to go on green and it wants to die when i give it gas new fuel filter under the hood, fuel pressure at the rail had great pressure cant really afford a shop bill or i'd take it to GN northwest

Got any kind of scan tool ? If not Malfunction Codes Reference old paper clip will do. Does it run fine the first ten mins or so when started? Might be fuel pump going out, might warm up and start failing when hot. Give some more detail. When you get on it does it drive fine only is rough at idle? Also im gonna say the TPS sensor or IAC is to blame, leaning more towards IAC or pump. only going off what information was given.

I cant get on it runs rough at idle, and even slightly push gas it will die i have a cone air intake since its been running like this it seems to be sucking alot more air. I DONT HAVE A SCANNER yet but might be cheaper than a shop. paper clips are plenttyful:biggrin:
