I own both and am torn which way to tell you to go. I guess my biggest question for you would be: do you have the necessary time to do the mnthly / weekly repairs to the GN? If it's your only car and you drive alot, be prepared to fix the small things that go wrong with a 17 yr old car...

I own both and can safely say the GN will come out on top. Biggest problem i've had with the SRT is launching it. FWD makes it difficult at best. The GN with 275 50's will rip yer head off.

I've put about 5100 miles on my black 04 SRT-4. While its a quick car, it SUCKS from a dig (Me still learning how to launch it prolly doesnt help Heh heh). Torque and FWD aren't a very good combo on street tires on a car with soft motor mounts.... can u say WHEEL HOP FROM HELL? Owning both...
