    The New GTO

    The new Dodge Charger, :o

    The New GTO

For 2005 the GTO is getting hood scoops, a slightly restyled rear bumper with the exhaust exiting both sides, and 375HP standard. Click here for the poor quality, grainy spy pic scan

    The New GTO

Ford can keep the flash-in-the-pan retro thanks. The new Stang looks pretty chunky. Dodge is releasing a new Charger, but like the GTO it's styled like a contemporary Dodge and will be four doors. I'm sure everyone will whine about that too. For those who like a little throwback though...

    The New GTO

It's kind of funny to hear people who like Grand Nationals bitch about the new GTO looking like a contemporary Pontiac. Afterall, when our cars were new they resembled the Skylark and LeSabre coupe of the time, and are "just" grandma's plain Regal painted black, how awful eh? The original old...

    Detroit Ponycar wars in Trucks

 They already do, it's called the Dodge SRT-4, Pontiac GTO, and Ford Mustang.

    Detroit Ponycar wars in Trucks

Too bad GM dropped the ball with the Silverado SS, it's in the price range, but can't even hold a candle to the performance of DCX and Ford's muscle trucks. What a damn shame. The CTS-V isn't meant to compete with the 300C and vice versa, either. The CTS-V is to squarely compete with...

Looking for some pics of 17's or 18's on a Buick

Those are the exact same wheels I want to buy, they look incredible! Now, you just need to lower your car slightly. ;)

    They must be kidding right?

It shares vague styling cues with the other cars in Pontiac's current lineup. That's a pretty common practice with all auto brands. Friends of mine have seen the car in person, and testify that the pictures don't do it justice, and that people will know it's a Pontiac, but won't confuse it...

buick beats out luxury car makers in quality!

I know Buicks have been reliable cars for 15+ years, but tops in quality? :o Buicks two flagships, the LeSabre and Park Avenue, have thorougly crappy interior designs and materials. They both feel very much like rental cars or taxis, and don't impart a luxurious quality feel you'd expect...

    Y are gn's such pieces of sh*t

My GN is pretty much stock with low original miles, and I haven't had any major problems with it. It seems to me the people who suffer the most troubles are the ones who are highly modified, or who have rebuilt engines. Horror stories are enough to deter me from wanting to modify the car too...

DO you think GN's are going

I think showroom condition turbo Regals will be worth a lot of money ten years from now. There is no question that they are popular, and highly coveted performance cars, and I don't see anything that will change that. One of the few legendary cars produced in the 1980s.

Anyone else here drive an Avalanche?

They're nice rigs and very popular around here. Most of them have the body cladding, which is nice IMO if you spend a lot of time off pavement on dirt/gravel roads, in fields, that sort of thing. It doesn't dent, it doesn't get scratched, and doesn't haze over from that sort of use like...

    They must be kidding right?

WORD. At $33,000 this car looks to be a Hell of a value, and it has a really slick interior and smooth sophisticated styling to boot. I remeber driving a loaded WS6 brand new in 2001 and it was only $1,000 or less off the price of this car, and this car is well above the old Fireturd...

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

So has anyone played with the steering on a TR? Are there any ways to improve the steering feel, tighten up the feeling and response?

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

I agree. If I'm going to spank another car, I'd like to start picking on Porsches, BMW M5s, that sort of car. Anything less isn't worth wasting the fuel on. I just don't want to modify the car to the point where it would be tricky or uncomfortable to drive day to day.

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

WOW. I'm certainly excited, did they comment about how the car rode in routine driving? Your story with Global West sounds similar to others on this site, which makes me apprehensive to deal with them. I might look for a good alternative if things don't pan out for you. I really don't...

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

I'm currently crunching numbers on upgrading the entire car over the next four months from top to bottom, inside and out. I think I may purchase the same pieces for the suspension of my GN (which is completely bone stock), but I've already read of similar problems like this on this board...

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

I've been reading past threads on making the Regals handle, it sounds like I want to stay away from poly bushings and the ATR bar for my application. I'm not willing to sacrifice much of the cars ride for handling, I'd like it to be firmer, but not crashy, bumpy and harsh. I will...

Building a better handling turbo Regal.

...and I'm not talking about just for drag racing either (because I don't do that really). What real world enhancements are available or can be done to the Regal suspension and body to make it a tighter, better handling overall car without killing the ride? I've seen vendors selling coil...
