i also have a 78 olds omega with a n/a buick 231. the prob im havin is if u get on it and rap it up, or just crusing, around 70 or 80 it will start to cut out and hessitate(kinda bucking lol). any 1 have any ideas? :confused: i was kinda thinkin it may be the mechanical advance or some thing...

i have a dyno-max super converter, and some mufflers. i just need to take it down to the exhaust shop and have it all put togather. btw is that a allright converter? i have dyno-max race bullets(cheap), are they allright?

ok im not sure if it is leaking above the o2 sensor because it is leakin from the cat bad. but im going to get new exhaust mabey then i can see if it is leakin from any where else. i know this i is kinda a stupid q but i dont knoe much about these cars :biggrin:

any 1 know if the oil pump on a 82 sc seperates from the timming cover. the reason i ask is i blew a gasket or sending unit or some thing. so i went to take off the pump and the cover is the only thing i could get to come off and i dont see any more bolts in that area. :confused:

ok i found out that that is the pump on the ft of the motor. does any 1 know if the oil pump is part of the timing cover or if it comes off of it compleatley.

got the car half way runnin today but when i go to get on it it kinda sputters and fells like something is just keppin it from going. but if u manually shift it will rap out better. any help is welcome
