I just purchased my first 1987 Grand National! I have been building hotrods since I was a kid but I love my GN way more! I took it to the track in September and ran 14.17 completely stock. I want to get this thing in to the high tens and be somewhat streetable. I live in Grand Island...
Where is the oil pressure sending unit on 87 Grand National? I bought a new autometer gauge and was wondering how to correctly install the sending unit? I'm new to grand national's but I really would appreciate the help. Post pics if you have them.
My grand national was stored over the winter. When I pulled it out of storage I found that it had been broken into. The engine cranks just fine and I am getting fuel but it won't fire. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I have a bone stock 87 GN. I don't know a damn thing about forced induction. I'm old school muscle. How do you adjust the boost? Also I just got a scanmaster tool. I need to know how to tune the car. So if anyone can point me in the right direction that would be great.
Recently bought 1987 GN. Took it to the track ran 14.2's pretty consistently. Motor has 84,000 miles on it. I want it to be way faster. First time owner so be nice. Thanks guys!
Hey guys. Might be kind of a stupid question but bare with me. Should I get electrical or mechanical gauges for my 87 GN? I know electrical cost more but are they necessary.
I want to put 17" ZR1 corvette rims on my GN. The vette rims that I'm looking at have a bolt spacing of 5x120.65. They have a 38mm offset. I know that a stock 1987 GN has a negative 3mm offset. Is this possible. Also if anyone has 17" rims on their GN put pictures up. I want black 5 spoke...
