mateo is right. i have had both. just something about the v6. i loved the off idle booty of my turbo 6.0 but the gn has a certain heritage. 3k is too much i think
just thought i would wrap this up for any body looking for good daily driver sound. old alpine with time align ,q forms with polk 6.5's tweets in the dash, polk 6x9s with adaptors in the back and a single sealed 10 sub in the axle tunnel and bam. deafining if i want it to be and solid . oh yeah...
my turn. i thought it was just mine that had this annoying stuff. heres some and how i rectified them
1) noisy lifter only at start up.
2) leaking oil from turbo drain; no wait main; no upper front of intake etc.
3) windows misalign. how many times do you swear you finally have them aligned. and...
not sure if this is the right place to put this, but i am looking to trade my 68 skylark custom for a hardtop t. looking for something rust free and presentable in the 8-10k range. my car is very clean . paint within the last 6 years, sf coded 1970 455 and performabuilt 2004r 18mpg and dead...
long island and metro. upstaters just want the rest of the world to know that when we look out our back doors we see cows instead of buildings. james, can you p.m. me prices and maybe pics.
i put 6x9's with adapters in today and wow. what a difference a good pair of 6x9's can make. i went back to a single 10 box i have because it is much lighter. i wish i had started with 6x9's then door's and tweeters in the dash . i may never have put a sub and definately not the q forms in at all.
how do you like the polk 6x9's? i just ordered a pair. i guess i should mention my head unit has time alignment so my staging left to right is really pretty good once i get it dialed in.
