I dont think the hose/pipe is too big, I just think you need to buy the correct adapter to couple the metal pipe to the turbo.

I understand what you are saying but the entire assembly was replaced in April 2004 along with the fuel pump. It has approximately 1200 miles on it in the last 9 years. I have the receipts and the date was engraved in the hat along with the fuel pump itself.
