Havent seen a thread on it yet.

Ill be there staying at the old school Economy Inn.

Im ready..... wee hew!!!

Whos Goin?

Looks like a couple car loads from my area are going. Nobody is talking about it thou so I hope there is a good turn out. 30th annual should help the attendance. Heck I may even drive the black car to this. 6 hours away.

This wil be my 22nd trip? Gone every year since 1988 way back when vendors could only set up in the host motel which has since then burned to the ground.....seen the large crowds and the small crowds, witnessed tremendous rain and super hot times...

Don Garlits will be there this year may be a real eye opener for Don who is strictly a Hemi guy. Not many racers has more quarter mile times than he has not to mention 144 national wins to his credit of 50 years squeezed into his top fuel dragsters....

I suspect being the 30th anniversary a good turn out as was the 25th anniversary......its been a great ride.......

we will have zddplus there at special prices....

Don is bringing is 001 Challenger drag pak car.

A rare opportunity for the Buick community to see Don at a non Mopar function.....

Courtsey of ZDDPlus - Richard Clark.....

Bowling Green

I will be there. This will be my first year and I am very excited. I may be about 3 days away from my first 87 GN purchase (if all goes right) So, I am fired up and hope to see and talk to a lot of you guys down there.

I will be there with the car Thurs-Sat.
HOPEFULLY racing TAI. ( Still need to work on tuning the new motor so I don't have anymore surprises. Too busy at work to work on the car).

Where is everyone staying? Best Western?

Bryan

You're going to have a great time, being amazed at all the great cars, owners, knowledgeable vendors, and enthusiasts. If your looking for something for your car, you'll find it there. If your looking to see what are BUICKS can do, This is the place.
Oh and to answer the main question OF WHO IS ATTENDING, I'll be therealong with 6 others for the whole event Tuesday thru Saturday:D

We plan to be there possibly with both cars if the transmission ever shows up for the race car!

Lot's of new tricks in the bag for this year if I can get it all together in time..........

I just got word that Hemmings is sending someone to cover the event...Hemmings of course does several well known publications.

We book in the Drury every year....tough to catch a room break that week as all the motels in town know that is a big week so rates are usually slightly higher that week.

Their are plenty of great places to eat at nite the later in the week it is the more crowded places become......

Being the 30th will attract more people than usual as did the 25th anniversary event.

We wil have zddplus at special rates.

Richard Clark as usual will be part of our group.....one of if not thee best at fixing powermaster brake issues.

His stock appearing race class has some tremendous payouts this year.

Have a safe trip one and all.

I will be going down for the first time! I am looking forward to lots of fun and tons of buicks..I am saving up because a friend that is taking me says the swap meet is always a great place to find odds and ends you might need

Silver Bullet and the rest of the crew, thanks for the info.

I'm actually not just looking for parts, Im looking to buy an 87 GN w/ T-tops, fairly flexible with everything else. After looking at many GN's locally and going through the paces, I figure that Bowling Green will hold high hopes for me in my search. This will be my first time going to BG so since many of you have been down there before do you have any advice? I heard that there will be a fair amount of cars for sale down there. Is this usually true?

I don't mean to jump or hijack this thread so please advise if I should move this to another section. I just felt that it does pertain to Bowling Green, so if you can, please help a brother out and let's have some Buick fun in Bowling Green in a few weeks.

Thanks,
Busyman
