hey man
i got the DOS boot file off this computer and on to a floppy disk.

what do i do now? when i stick it in my laptop it just opens to windows. when i try to reboot , it wont reboot because there is a disk in the floppy drive (its an add on flopy drive, wondering if this is ok?)

some window pops up when i double click on it, "Win image self extractor" ???
i dont know what to do.

just let me know. id like to get it working for tonight

Go into Windows and pop a blank floppy into your floppy drive. Runhe program you got from me and let it do it's thing on the floppy you hav ein the drive. Then make sure the computer will hit the floppy first when it tries to boot up. Reboot your machine with the floppy in the drive and it should take you right into DS.
