XFI transbrake control question....

Do I have to use a digital relay? $$$
I figure a conventional relay would react way quicker than a brake solenoid could. If so, what's the point of the special relay?

I have been wanting to hook up the TB control on a friends car..... the ability to come in.... pre stage... set the trans brake.... and it automatically roll out into the stage beams w/o you having to release the button is way cool.... if it works as advertised....

I've used a regular relay for years with no problem.
