XFI thumbwheel install question?

Looking at the connector for the thumbwheel option on the Casper's box side... There is a white wire with a pin attached to the end of it that isn't connected to anything. Is it supposed to be attached somewhere?

That is the "Flash Enable" wire. It can be attached if you wish to use thumbwheel positions 4+ to put the XFI in Flash mode. If you leave it unplugged the ALDL connector is used for flash enable. When a customer purchases an XFI and thumbwheel from us, I leave it unplugged and use the ALDL.
