xfi 2.0 boost control

Hi,
I am in the process of installing fast xfi 2.0 on my 86gn. Will the stock boost control solenoid work with fast to control boost electronically? If it will work, do I need to wire it up any different? I do have the caspers adapter

You won't have to do any extra wiring and it will work fine. That's exactly what I do on my own car.

Lance, so the stock setup will control boost with a stock style waste gate ?

Yep.... The Casper's harness adapter wires the wastegate PWM output directly to the wastegate solenoid. Only thing you have to do is program the table..

Didn't think it would control boost very well on a single port setup on a stock wastegate

It works as least as well as the stock setup. However, if you had no control with the stock ECU, you probably won't fare much better with the XFI. It mostly depends on how well your wastegate is working in your particular application. I have a 6262 turbo and a TH downpipe. I have no complaints. More duty cycle = more boost.
