WTB Stock transmission in Atlanta area.

My transmission is slipping and I'm looking to buy a good working stock transmission in the Atlanta/West Georgia, East AL area for my '87.

I have a good core but don't know the history. Sid Neal in Stone Mnt can build these transmissions. Last I checked he charged $550 for a nice rebuild with upgraded bands, clutches and boost valve? 1 year warranty and a $250 refresh price. Good for around 400hp. You drop the tranny off to him and he usually is done in a week or less. If you're having tranny issues then he'll recommend either replacing or flushing the torque convertor.
