hey guys. Been looking for used pair of M/T radials, 325/50 preferred, but was given an offer on a set of used 315/60's. Question, will these fit on my stage II GN, that is notched already? It fit the 325's just fine, but from what i have heard 315's/630's are bigger overall and may not fit? Thanks:cool:

They are taller and can't be wider but could be just as wide. I'd look at how much room you have on either side and check out the clearance for the added height.

That tire will flex like hell on turns if you drive it on the street once in a while.

It will take a full notched frame and rolled lip and it will be close!

Only Regal I have seen with the MT 315/60's is Michael Fell's white car that was done by Leo Barnaby at NeverLift Racecraft.

Few pics I took of it from the 2006 World Street Nationals~

Michael Fell's frame has been tweaked to the max.
This is not what a typical notch job will look like!!!
Great pictures Steve, thanks for posting.

Thanks Guys, I have 10 inch rims with a 5 inch backspacing. Been told this may work just fine, so long as the height is ok. I know a 29.5x10.5 inch slick will work fine. I have 28.5/10.5 phoenix slicks on it now

325/50R15's:

27.79" tall and 12.79" wide

315/60R15's:

29.88" tall and 12.40" wide

If you can make up for the extra 1.09" of height you'll be fine since the 315's are .39" narrower.

THanks JD, your right on. I am going with these 315's. It will calm the launch down a tad with the taller tire

Mike Fells car looks sweet and those tires look awesome in there.

Wonder if it's a real GNX or a clone?

The cars so fast the lower part of the drivers door is sucking into itself!

I'm pretty certain it is a clone, used to be owned by Jimmy D' Alessandro. Michael had some issues at the WSN's never made a clean hit, but I'm pretty sure his car will be back out again soon. It is easily one of the nicest looking Stage2 Turbo Regals that I have seen.
