Will a 109 Roller Hyd Lifter work in a Stage2?

I'm just wondering......Has anyone tried it?......I'm wondering about oil passage line up........ And the differences. Thanks

Sure they will I've done it several times but there needs to be a oil feed hole in the oil galleys to every lifter bore. You can even use a SBC lifter with a unshielded foot. The lifter galleys were not drilled when the blocks came from the factory but later done by the engine builder. Not all Stg11 motors oiled the rockers through the pushrods. This is easy to check of the intake is off the motor.

Also you must verify what heads the cam is for. True stage heads require a stage headed cam spec. with the valve in the right order.
