where does that large black hose from firewall connect under dash?

Guess I've disturbed a large black hose (abut the outer diameter of a finger) that is running through the firewall behind the brake pedal. What is that hose and where does it connect to under the dash. I know it's somewhere close to the fuse box. Appreciate the help on this guys!

cruise control vac disconnect switch above the brake pedal , its sort of clear above the white switch , hose does a full 180 bend and goes onto the port on that switch
