I`ve been out of the GN game for a while, my 87 could use a new set of tires. I have a really old set of BFG Radial TA`s, 245-50 on the front, and 265-50 on the rear. From searching on Summit, and Tire Rack my only choice seems to be the BFG G Force TA. Any other options out there ?

255-60 mickey thompson drs :)

Toyo makes a Dr in a 275 in 16" as well

I have a set of BFG drag radials on an extra set of rims, just want something for everyday driving

i think i have some 245/50/16 Hankooks on my Camaro- and they were only like $100 a tire. they aren't ultra high performance or anything, but they look cool, ride quiet, and have plenty of traction for normal every day driving..

I had BF Goodrich G Force 255/50 16 on Rear and 245/50 16 on Front. Now running 255/50R16 Mickey Thompson ET Streets. The BFG tires worked fine.

i had the G-Force tires on the front, and they made the car follow the grooves in the road a lot more that the cheaper tires I have on there now.

How do you like these at the track? Can you launch hard like a slick? I know all cars are a little different but I'm curious oh the 16 inch my drs performe

With the Mickey Thompsons I launched a respectable 1.55 60'. I think I could do better but don't get to the track much. I heated them up good and they launched very hard. I like them a lot.

245/50/16 Falken tires
275/45/16 Toyo tq

No clearance issues. with GTA front and rear rims. Note that the front GTA are mounted on the rear and rears GTA are on the fronts. I believe I have a 3/4 spacer on the fronts with longer wheel studs. You can get away with a 5/16 spacer.

Kuhmo Ecsta
265/45/16's

Can't find them everywhere but wide and right diameter

245-50-16 front
275-45-16 rear. Toyo tq.
