Ok, so I got some PPG base coat in Code 15 Medium Silver Metallic. It's darker than the Omni MBC Code 15 (go figure) and looked like it matched mine. I shot the header and filler panels and it's still way too light.
The tag in the engine bay says 15L and 15U. This car is darker than the Code 15's from the paint stores. Period.
Is there a darker silver that more charcoal than silver?
I talked with the original owner and he said they used the "stock color" but didn't remember what it was.
