How much power do you plan to make? A 9" is gonna have trouble coupling a turbo V8 if it makes a lot of power.

Give me a run down on the combo and what kind of et is expected.

A 9 inch will work on a very mild engine that turns over 7k rpm but most V8's use a version of the 9.5 like we use in the TSM and TSO cars, with a much tighter stall. They all will see boost around 3200 rpm but they will handle the power well up top. How much tighter will depend on how much power the engine makes.
