went to the track, car felt like it was falling on it face, more toward the end ,replayed my fast,no knock,a/f 10.5,to 11.3. more 10.5 at the top end ,a little rich, but the car was off .75/8 mph . volts started out at 12.5.ended at 11.9,at idle or cruise goes right back to 13.4,13.5 volts. this only happens at w,o.t. battery checks out at 800 cranking amps, alt ,starter checked out fine, alt brand new .

steve-----it sure isn't due to the starter-----and its not the battery either since it wouldn't matter if it was a million cranking amps the most you can get out of a fully charged 6 cell lead acid battery is 12.8 volts-------you probably have a wiring issue-------probably a bad connection somewhere-------it could be your alternator but not likely----- you to need monitor the alternator directly at its output terminals to see if it is the problem..........RC
