Rhodes lifters are subposed to regain low rpm torque and eliminate the need for a high stall converter, also they claim to be much more efficient.
has anyone used a set in thier 3.8? i am thinking of using some but i want some independant input on how well they work
thanks

Hello;

I have heard that they are noisy and Might set off the knock detector.

IMO , stick to OE lifters , or Comp cams lifters for buicks. I have had problems with Federal Mogal lifters , alot of noise. Set off the knock sensor.

lifters

They work but do tick-Crane "HI-INTENSITY" do same w/no noise.
But they wont replace need for a stall,that allows you to build boost quicker.Those lifters are really for large cams to help bring back low end torque,the V-6 buick cams aren't that big!
