Valve Spring Splash gaurds

I am getting ready to install my valve springs that came in the comp cam kit 206/206. Assuming they are the same diameter do i need to put the "splash guards" off the original springs back on new springs?

they arent splash gaurds they are there as vibration dampners that prevent the spring from oscillating and dieing an early death
dont reuse the external dampner

If you're talking about the spring cups no don't reuse them.
