Vacuum brake part number ?

hi. I've searched and read most of the vacuum brake threads on here, but I just wanted to get the proper part number as to not purchase the wrong one.

There are single and dual diaphragm ones........which is the proper one?

or in other words, which one came stock in the 87 Monte Carlo SS?

is the one below the proper setup?

I have found a brake pedal from a non-turbo Regal, so I should be set for the transplant.

1) Power brake booster & Master Cylinder (part # 50-1243) for $138.00
2) 4ft of 3/8" vacuum hose = $4.88
3) Big bottle of DOT3 brake fluid = $4.26
4) 3/8" vacuum tee = $1.98

Advance Auto Parts Total= $ 149.12

A Junkyard Brake pedal from a V8 85' Buick regal= $20.00
.... ( this pedal is in nicer shape than my original)........

TOTAL cost of conversion with NEW parts!= $169.12

I use a 1987 Regal non-turbo brake booster and master cylinder.

Most parts stors offer a lifetime warranty on these items for under $200.

Some caprices had a bigger dual diaphragm booster that is a bolt into a G body with a vacuum brake pedal. I think it was the 89 model year.

I bought one that was supposed to be off a 89 caprice they are 12" dual diaphragm, rod was to long wouldnt work
