Thought I would post some pictures of my GN build and the combo as it comes together over the next month. The car will see cruise night action, shows (Lookout PhillyTurboSix!!!), and strip duty with 9’s in mind. I’ll be slowly stepping into the combo/tuning with reliability in mind (If there is such a thing!). The combo is a little radical for some but it’s my vision of an all-out street car.

First, big thanks to Otto from Otto's performance who is doing most of the wrenching on the car (Motor/Suspension/Trans/Rear/Gauges/XFI/Tuning/Counseling...you name it). I can’t say enough about his service, work ethic, and overall what a great guy to do business with. I would highly recommend him for any job – mild to wild.

Thanks to Russ Merritt who is handling the motor machining, assembly, and head work. Russ worked my factory 109 - 5 over and did an excellent job machining my 109 block for the RJC girdle. He also ported my GN1s.

Stroker parts and rotating assembly are from Dan at DLS who spent a lot of time on the phone with me and truly cared about my satisfaction with his parts and service over the past 1.5 months. From his competitive prices to the depth of knowledge on the 109 what a great vendor to deal with.

Also – Big thanks to my wife Allyson who has supported me throughout the process!

Roll Bar install from JW Racing Fab - orginally was building a 10.50 car and thought the 6 point would do. Should have went straight to the cage:confused:

Great build, and great thread. Can't wait to see the finished product:cool:

Geoff

You better not let the wife she isn't first on the "Thank You" list!

Looks good

That car is gonna be a complete animal! Killer build up. No weak links in that build. Gonna hurt quite a few feelings when that thing hits the streets.

Whoa, that's something! Looks fantastic with some great details.
That's really firing the parts cannon!

Wow, that is quite the list of toys! Should be a blast and a half.
Insure the crap out of it!

paint

the paint job looks killer too. Where is that place located and their #.

Sounds like one hellava combo and Looks to be TSM legal too.

Keep the pictures of the progress coming. Love to see eye candy like that.

Kip is right. The car was not built to run TSM tho. Would sure be nice to see that rule changed. I would think there would be a lot more 8 second TSM passes as a result. The Buick community is practically the only one runnen 3 bolts.
