1986 GN.

Extremely nice 86 GN with Duttweiler Twin Turbo V8
Car was stripped to the metal and repainted. Car had zero rust or damage.
Car built by Duttweiler and has approximately 2000 miles since built and about 35 passes at 1/8 and 1/4 mile tracks, combined.
I have made only 3 passes on the car. The Torque Converter, has a stock stall and at idle car will drive.. My passes consisted of leaving at 2000 RPM with 5 lbs boost and ran 12 lbs boost during run. Car ran a 10.3 with a 1.9 60ft and 139.5 MPH. The car has too low a gear ratio (3.9) & with a short tire hit the computer rev limiter at 3/4 track. Top Speed at 7000 RPM is 139.5.
With a 3.4 or 3.3 Ratio car will run mid 9's on 12 LBS boost.
The lowest I can turn down the boost is 12 lbs using a knob on the center console.
Car has manual steering, manual brakes and stops easily from 139 MPH.
According to Dyno Sheet, 12 lbs boost is 802 HP and 702 lbs TQ at the crank.
Dyno Sheet says 17LBs boost makes 1035HP, 780 LBs TQ with HP still climbing.
Engine made 1450 HP on Duttweilers Dyno at Crank.I don't know the boost.

I have used the car primarily for car cruises this summer. Huge crowds wherever it parks. Car runs great on the street. Does not have heater, A/C or wipers.
I have build sheets, Dyno sheets, Motec instructions.
I believe it would cost twice my asking price to duplicate build at Duttweilers, you providing a car?

Now that's more like it. Sweet! Did Duttweiler build the motor and behind bars race cars build the rest or am I thinken of a different TT V8 car? Big money in that car.

No worries, nothing wrong... RTV needs some help occasionally:biggrin:

RTV, you have to make a new post in the same thread with at least a couple of letters and you can post 5 more pics!

Brett according to the paperwork Ken did all the work except maybe the rear end & cage.
It shows Ken building and fabbing everything else.
This was Pat Fiero's old car and I remember Pat would say he couldn't keep the car off the rev limiter. It turns out the problem was the 3.9 rear gears and the sort tire. At 3/4 track the engine hits the Motec Rev Limit of 7000 and that was what he was hitting also.
12 lbs is all I have used on pump gas and its as fast as I care to run.

Thanks Shane for fixing the post sorry about the repeat of pictures.

wow sweet car if the turbos poked thru the hood it could pass for chris chows car good luck with the sale:smile:

Dutt's TT V8

What size of turbo she has?

went back to re-read and found the answer to my question:biggrin:

I just don't have the desire to go to the track and spend an entire day there to get a couple of runs in.
We are also looking to move into a condo as we are getting too old to maintain a big home and yards.

I went to the track 2 times this summer and only made 3 passes because of the damn weather here in WA. Every time I set aside a day to go to the track it would rain. The first 7 weeks of race dates were rained out and I wont drive the car in the rain to drive their then hope to make a pass and drive home.
Its a blast at the car cruises but I don't need 1400HP to do that.
If I get a fair price I will sell, if not I will look for someplace to store it.
