Turbolink 213 won't run

I have an original Turbo link 2.13 diskette and cable I bought years ago. I recently acquired a laptop with a parallel port to run this from after not using it for many years. However, when I boot the computer to dos and try to run the executable on the disk (tlv213.exe) I get :

PSFX: (w12) Warning! Skipping encrypted file: lpt1test.exe
I get this for all ten files in the executable

Am I not doing this the right way? Does this version just not work after a period of years?

Nevermind, I see that I need a password to extract the files. I hope I still have the paperwork that came with it. If not, is there a way to get a hold of Ken? I realize this is very old software, but it worked for me and I don't want to buy another scan tool.
