turbo question

i have a t62-1 master power turbo, the exhaust housing from the stock turbo was used on this unit..does this make my turbo weaker...i ask because based on my combo i dont feel the car as powerful as some of the guys running a real t62....please advise me and also what turbo would you guys rec...

Don't really know much about your turbo. As far as recommendations though I had a TE61 on my last car.

The ONLY differences in my setup than the one in your sig was the turbo and I had 50# injectors. My car went 7.20's 1/8 mile on drag radials @ 24psi.

I wouldn't think so, if it's the factory Garrett exhaust housing you're referring to. It should spool quicker than what's available today from what I've read. I'm sure someone smarter on the topic will chime in.
