Hey all I am trying to discern the model of this turbo. It was given to me and have been told it is a TA49, had a friend of mine take apart to check the fins and play, he sys there is to much axial play. The goal is to make some more HP, so my thought is that it doesn't make much sense to rebuild a stock turbo. So far 62lbs Bosch injectors, adjustable fuel regulator,MAF translator, TT chip Pypes exhaust.

Thank you for the advice and assistance

Remeasure everything in mm, not inches.

you need to measure the wheels at the tips where the air enters (compressor) and exits (turbine)

Was that not

Pic #5 compressor = 2.9525" (74.9935 mm)
Pic #8 exit turbine = 2.5215" (64.0461 mm)

Or did I get that wrong
