Turbo flange gasket

You know the one, its between the turbo and the header. Does anybody else blow these things like crazy?? Seems like I always have an exhaust leak there. I think I'm gonna use some permatex this time, are there any other tricks to keep this thing together? I should buy these things in bulk, and I think I could change it in my sleep now. Still a pita though. TIA...Mark

How about getting rid of it, and just making sure that the header and turbo are parallel and flat?

Make sure they are flat and get the Turbo Rivieria gasket. Search the tech for it as I posted the number before. It will not leak!

The gasket I got from MM now Ramchargers with my PTE turbo has held up fine for 3 years now.
