Trying to identify my front mount intercooler

I thought it was a Precision, but may have assumed that. Bought used around 2003-2004 from someone on here or more likely BG. Was putting pipes back on and noticed Turbonetics logo on the 3" id cast elbows that come out at about 30 degrees toward center on inlet an 45 on outlet. They have short pieces of 3" od tubing with a bead roll that are welded on. Core is 28x15x3.5 inches. End tanks look like 4 sides of a 3.5" hex tube modified starting about halfway up to clear headlight buckets.

Anyway, no big deal, I am just curious.

I would think "There's your answer". But I could be wrong.

It's looks to be hand welded so elbows could have been sourced separately. I was hoping core size would tell the tale. It does have "G02", "Y" and "32" stamped into bottom of core in 3 center justified rows. Could be "O", not zero.

I have 2 Cottons intercoolers and they both have turbonetics fittings on them.
I did not compare the sizes with yours but both of mine are different sizes and thickness
Hope this helps

Nope. End tanks are hex and cast elbows directly welded to them. Single angle mounting bracket to that center hole facing forward with rubber spacer and a bunch of washers. Core is same basic construction.

Not sure it was worth removing the grill :)

Could be. It was used when I bought it. The cores look the same but there are subtle differences from pics posted earlier. My tanks are hex, have 4 sides, not 3, and bottom mounting points, 1 vs 2, as examples.

Looks like mine

That's it! The top mounting is the same as mine as well. Is yours from Cotton? I'm not saying mine isn't, just that it's not same as TurboTGuy's.

i'm told it was and it has a single mount on the bottom that lines up with the hole in the bottom of the core support. i have paper work and mine was bought in oct. 2004 so maybe the 04 on mine is for 2004?

I'd say we have the same one. Probably Cotton. The 02/04 could be date, mine was used and pretty sure I got it in 2003.

the stamps on the core are from the core supplier .
all hand made so things can vary and did but that double step on the turbonetics elbow is jacks work .
on my cottons fmic the core is taller and goes all the way to bottom af rad support, back then TSM rules would only allow core to bottom of rad support , he made some taller that extended below rad support for TSO
