Trans ID and wiring ?

I'm trying to ID a trans that is for sale. I haven't seen the trans and the tag is painted over. The numbers he could read off the tag are 200-IT830C0045. Can the trans be identified by this code? He told me it was out of a MC SS.

Also, it is a 3 wire. Will this trans work for a swap into a Chevelle and still retain the lockup feature?

It looks like an 1983 OG code, not a good trans to start with. Haven't seen an OC code.
You'll need to wire 12V to pin A on the plug for lockup.
