I will be getting my trans done within the next month, stage 2 build. I just ordered a 10" NL PTC converter for my 86T. Will the g-body alum rad have enough cooling for the trans? or should I get an external one also? My gbody rad actually blew some welds last year and I was mad and bought a alradco one. The gbody big boy cooled better, so I had it all re-welded and fixed.
The car really only gets driven around the city, not much highway driving and maybe a pass or 2 at the track. I also live in Winnipeg and although temps can be pretty hot, generally I won't drive it around when it's blazing hot to begin with.

any thoughts?

Ok cool. I can get the B&M one for $82 from a local friends shop and not pay shipping. I guess I just pick it up and put it in when the tranny gets done. Better safe than sorry I guess.
Thanks for the reply Nasty!
