I went to the track this past weekend. I did 4 runs but I aborted the first 2 due to blazing the tires right at the start. On the 3rd pass I launched at 3 lbs time slip below.

1.65 60ft
7.25@94.94 1/8 mile
11.33@123.06

The boost was 22-23 on the Power Logger

The 4th pass I opened the dump and launced at 2lbs

1.65 60ft
7.135@97.31 1/8
11.10@126.47

The boost was 25-26 on the Power Logger.

I am now running a 6265DBB and ported stock heads. The rest of the mods in my sig are the same.

The turbo spools to 1lb right at 2500RPMs.

On 93 and Alky too. :)

Great information! That car is moving! I like the way those vigilante converters and the billet 62 feel. Thanks for sharing. What's the next step for you? Were you locking the converter? If so, when?
 
I lock it at 85. I am not planning on doing anything else to the car. I am really happy with the Turbo/Converter combo. I never thought I could get 1.65 60ft launching at 2lbs.
 
255/50/16 I have cut a 1.53 on these same tires when I had the 6262JB. Launched at 7-8lbs from what I remember.

That is very refreshing to hear, because I thought I was going to have to step up to a 275-315 Drag Radial, while widening the stock 16 X 8 GTA rims, to get it down to a 1.50 or lower sixty foot....
 
My 2 best 60' times of 1.52 and 1.53 were launching at 0 boost, and easing in to the throttle. Same size tires, but had a ta49 with a Garrett housing.
 
Absolutely! That Turbo spooled so fast any more boost, and it just spun the tires. The 1.52 I actually had it in first gear, and forgot to switch to 2nd. Bounced off the rev limiter for a second and let off.

That's for sure. I get the pleasure of racing with him otherwise known as watching his rear bumper all the way down the track. Every time we go his cars seem to get faster and faster and he keeps making me spend more money !

Lmao! I always laugh when Steve says " Everyone wants to go fast for Free" hahahahaha

I must have eaten a ton of bagels since we've been friends but it's well worth it.

He doesn't hide any secrets either!!! Tips have been adding up over the years and my poncho has never been so fast.
