What do you guys use? I've tried my drill with the soft buffing pads, but it's too slow. I've tried the Dremel, but it's just a plain old POS with those damn brushes inside it going bad all the time, but the teensy weensy attachments....

My hands are killing me from polishing my Champ 500s by hand; need some relief! Suggestions on a tool that is right for the job?

Cool! Thanks Two Lane! I'm going to check that out.

Anyone else use anything different?

Coastal Tool sells the Porter Cable 7424 for a pretty low price. It is generally agreed to be the best tool for polishing purposes (at least for the enthusiast rather than the pro). Although for getting in those cracks and crannys on a rim it might not be the best.

Try checking out their site though.

Keeping the rims nice once they are polished is probably the best bet. I usually throw Zaino Bros wax on the rims once they are all shined up. Helps the brake dust slough off better.
