Me and my friend worked for 6 hours  on installing the hood and truck yesterday night.. Man what a pain in the ass.. Anyway i took some photos for you guys so that you can give me your feelings about the rear wing.. i'm starting to like not having it, but i want to see what you fellow GNer's feel.. Before the parts she came in at 3440lbs (without me).. hopefully she dropped a 100lbs off after last night..

Also, We just sold our house here in Maryland (closing on 12/15).. Watch out California Sun   here i come..

With most cars I would say without. But these look good both ways, I'd say it's a matter of personnal preference. I've wondered about which on mine when I get it painted, but since it is a GN I figured I'd keep it.

Beautiful car. I think it would look fine with or without the rear wing. Personally I believe less is more. I liked your engine photos too. It's always nice to see someone who isn't afraid to spend some money to have things done right. Hey, I thought Billy didn't like using girdles what gives?

Yep billy didn't mind me spending my cash :D :D .... i don't mind it, knowning he is the god of buicks. i didn't want to go with a stage motor right now and with the power i wanted we went with a girdle.. I had to twist his arm big time for him to use it, but it should hold everything together for a bit. i think also i was his first Stroker 109 block too. He tuned it FAT on 20 pounds and got RWHP of 605.. This coming up weekend i'm turning the boost up to 25 and hoping for a 9sec pass and keeping it together  ..

You've got a lot of turbo and after shedding some weight off the car I'd say you're right on track to run some 9 second passes.

Are you going for looks?, or aero stability at high speeds?.

If for looks, then that's a matter of personal taste.
If your going for aero stability, then you need to get the car out of the air, ie lower it so that there's a min of air trapped under the nose. Plus the suspension needs a bite of work to work well at those speeds.

IMO, for a car that is a high speed runner, a wind is sign of being serious. Done incorrectly thou, then it's a just a waste of time and effort, again, IMO.

If you mean the stock spoiler, then by all means add it.

I wanted to go BIGGER but billy talked me out of it because i drive her on the street.. He also charged the A/C and its blowing cold and the heater box is still in the car.. It's a beast and its about time.. It only took me 2 long years to get it where she is..
